Story:
our sunday run back up the glennifer braes as the boys love this run.we had six boys out today.callum, rorie, euan, chris, scott and gavin,so a great group of guys.now as we were waiting in the carpark waiting to go with donnas dogs going mad another group of cars came in and out popped another group of dogs well it was chaos dogs everywhere, they seemed to love running around with there new pals and all got on without to much growling.then kenny came out with his mountain bike and asked where we were going and decided to pedal the route with us.so of we went and kenny on his bike.first part is always nice and easy to get ourself going.the weather was superb and we also had chris ,rorie and scott doing this for the first time.we came to the first climb thats the road up from the farm.this hill goes on and on.we got to the top and always give the guys a break here and time for a picture with the fantastic view in the background.then onto the resevoir,on this bit its mucky and need to be careful of the rocks as well.but the guys like getting in about the dirty stuff.kenny finding it tough and not so easy to get his mountain bike over this section as the rocks and muck are very heavy going, but he got us again as we got to the reservoir and its back onto a better bit but still a bit mushy in places.the guys who had done this before were busy running ahead telling there stories of last time from getting a little close to the highland cows and making euan go flat face down in the mud.then back to a little bit of road upto the golf club and then back on the braes where here we done some sight seeing trying to spot xscape, from here it was on to seargant law carpark.then just after that sitting next to the path there were alot of highland cows with there calf and thought it a little to dangerous to go to near them so we went cross country to give them a miss and it was total mush, and im sure there was not very nice stuff in all that mush and thought dont want the guys to fall in that there parents not let them back out again.it did get a laugh or two getting through it all.and give kenny credit he also followed on through it all bike as well.then onto robertson carpark and crossed the road and up another steep hill.believe it or not yes kenny was there with us on his bike,,,,superb,,,,   then through the woods and upto the top and from here it was downhill for a long way but have to be very careful as it can be very slippy as rorie found out,he was like bambi on ice.back to robertson carpark then on path again all the way to the cars again.at this point the guys had got ahead of me as i was to busy chatting to kenny and they gave me a wee reminder and shouted hurry up jim.well a couple of older guys said as i passed them.  YOUR NO CATCHING THEM........he was right about that as they steamed on down the path to the carpark and the end.myself and kenny getting there just behind.the guys loved it and just want to do it again next week.
great when you finish and they want to keep going.well done to kenny on his mountain bike as its not easy to do on his bike.
