Tips:
The best direction we could take! Start on Aspen Grove side, hike up to Emerald Lakes and further to saddle below Mt. Timpanogos and descending via Timpooneke trail (seemed to us like very boring and strenuous hike other way up) finishing at Timpooneke camp parking. You have to have two cars or someone arranged to pick you up as this is no loop hike. We made it in roughly 9 hours with 10 years old boy. It was incredible and could be even more, considering possible encounters with wild mountain goats and wildflowers (at this point we were unlucky). Yet the fall colors of changing aspen and beech forest is hard to forget and lenses of our cameras were burning. we are giving it ALL our 12 THUMBS UP!

The whole trip was entirely created using BBBold and EveryTrail pgm, including snapshots. It works flawlessly with a few touch-ups in final trip creation on ETrail web (using comp). I disabled radio, WiFi and BTooth during our trip (9,5 hrs)and still be able to record for a few couple of hours. My guess would be 11 hours without need to recharge in decent temperature, which was roughly 35-40'F. My only complaint is about 1:1 format of photos on web, which doesn't correlate with common 3:4 ratio. It makes many photos look lame.

Very cool. How did the blackberry app hold up? Did you have an additional battery? Did you also take photos with your blackberry?
