Story:
Road from Wadi as Sahtan to Yasib is as spectacular as can be. The ride was in places hair-raising with its hairpin turns over open precipice or along a narrow ledge with a few hundred meters of vertical wall on side. And sometimes it is REALLY steep . On the other side of the broad Wadi as Sahtan we drove a new graded road over Jabal Dhawi leading to 3 or four houses across the mountain ( the Sultan cares for his subjects, no jokes). Compared to these two, further track to Wadi Bani Awf was relatively smooth and easy.

Tips:
Roads to Yasib and over Jabal Dhawi call for a really heavy duty equipment , like our Nissan Patrol. Tracks are very steep and the temperature was 46 deg C.
