Story:
This route looked so promising from the USGS topo maps. Again, logging has destroyed what were probably great trails. Lots of bushwacking and route finding. Just a miserable starting location unless one likes to criss cross 20 miles of logging road to actually get to the top. There is an active well on top marked on the map which was not worth visiting. The mosquitoes were just horrendous on top as well. Pictures (proof!) will follow.

I would like that, but I don't know how to get a hold of you with private messaging disabled. If you wish to call me at work, my number is 465-1234

You are right, the maps are pretty well useless now. We have found our own route up there now and ride it several times a season. It's one of my favorite rides. It's a grunt, but a good ride. Let me know if you'd like to ride up there next season.
