Story:
Thought about doing the Rigilauf, but decided to take the easier option, luckily. The run was beautiful and really difficult. The first part just keeps going up. The grade is never too steep, but the relentlessness really wears you down. Had some cool "spurt" sections, not really sure what they were but they looked like TdF Sprint areas to get extra-points, definitely didn't get any of those.

Kept a surprisingly high heart rate the whole time and sweated like nobodies business, definitely need to work on that hill training.

Tips:
Try and get in a good group of people and identify who you know you are faster than and who you know you should be slower than. It helps you regulate the pace well

People seem to burst and burn constantly and walk at completely random times, just something to know because it is a little bewildering to see during the race

Walking is perfectly acceptable and don't start out too hard since it's a long 13km
