Drive over one of the most scenic roads in NE Hungary. in fact, this is one of the very few "scenic" roads I could find indicated on the whole map of Hungary.

The road itself is over some moderate mountains. Not very steep but the roads are very narrow. Near the summit there is an ancient oak forest that's a Unesco heritage site. We were in a hurry so didn't have time to stop, but it looked like a very nice place to explore..
Our destination was a castle ruin from which there was a great view. I'll document in a separate track.
Tips:
watch out for trucks! If you are traveling in July, be sure to sample the local apricots. They are delicious.

We enjoyed this short trip thru the woods to that castle very much. Also climbing up the rock and visiting that fort was worth the small entrance fee. We had a lot of fun though but its not an "offroad" trip as I was expecting gravel road and other obstacles... Thanks for bringing us here!
