Story:

Another trip to the Salt Marsh just north of the Indian River Inlet in coastal Delaware...nesting ground for many water birds.  High tide a must but with all the rain this year the Marsh is flooded well over the grasses giving you access to many new areas.  Gulls are sitting on nests that are actually floating. The din of the birds is incredible!  If you are afraid of birds...do not go here! Laughing Gulls, osprey, Terns, great blue Herons, little blue herons, black crowned night herons, egrets, oyster catchers, pelicans and more.  Turtles and horseshoe crabs in abundance...in fact the beach areas are lined with mating horseshoe crabs.
Tips:

don't go at low tide.
