Flag Hill - Sunol Regional Park EBRPD - California, United States

Story:
  Flag Hill is considered one of the more challenging hiking destinations in Sunol Regional Park, part of East Bay Regional Parks. Jamie and I decided to give it a try one week after our hot trip to Cave Rocks. The trailhead is at  the bridge over Alameda Creek near the visitor center. After crossing the creek, we turned left into Flag Hill trail. 35 minutes into the hike, we reached Flag Hill where you had great views on the park itself. To add to the challenge, we took Indian Joe Creek Trail back to the trailhead instead of HayField Road we took last time. For more details on the park, please check out:

Elevation Gain: 1,200 ft.
Duration: Less than 2 hours
Difficulty Level: Moderate
Start / End: Sunol Visitor Center

Route:
Visitor Center -> Flag Hill Trail -> Flag Hill (1,360 ft.) -> Flag Hill Road -> High Valley Road ->  India Joe Creek Trail -> Cave Rocks (940 ft.) -> India Joe Creek Trail ->  Canyon View Trail -> Visitor Center

As the GPS receiver was out of battery near the end of the trip, the track log after Cave Rocks was lost.
