Story:
Squaw Flat Trailhead to CP2 campsite.  We started off somewhat early 8am) for this hike.  Our backpacks were pretty heavy since we were carrying the necessary water for 2.5 days in the canyonlands.  There is no reliable water source in the area so for 2.5 days we each carried 2 gallons of water.  That's 16 pounds of just water.

Our packs weighted roughly 40 lbs with all of our food, tent, sleeping bags, etc.  The hike to Chesler Park was unreal....scrambling of rocks all over the place.  I wish I didnt have the pack on, but it was still a lot of fun.
Tips:
Bring plenty of water..there is no reliable water source in the aea.  The rangers recommend 1 gallon per day per person but we felt that amount was a little short of what is really needed.
