Story:
Giving talks today at St. Patrick's Cathedral in Pune India, a 3.5 hour drive from Mumbai. We stayed over night in a Racing Club. Fireworks blasting until midnight in celebration of the Hindu Festival of Lights, called Diwali. I got up early to walk thru the neighborhood. It is always heartbreaking to see families sleeping on the filthy sidewalk without anything but rags as blankets. No American can prepare themselves for the experience of walking through this country. Yet the people are friendly and generous. I ended up at the Cathedral where we will be giving our talks later today.
