Another Trip to Five Ridges Prairie - Iowa, United States

Story: Another trip for bumanfam Dad to Five Ridges Prairie to grab some caches.  This time a newbie was along for the trip.  We had our route planned out, and included a couple of \"outs\" should we tire or run out of time to cut the trip shorter.  We did use one of them, which means we\'ll have to come back for the last four caches currently at 5RP!  Didn't remember to use the camera much this time, so there are no shots here.  Today was much nicer than the last trip - temps in the 70s, and beautiful sun.  Tried out a new hydration pack with great success (though 2 liters plus 2 0 20 ounce bottles of water wasn\'t enough!  Will have to pack an extra bladder full next time!  Now, if only we\'d picked up the trekking poles on the way out the door. . . sure would be nice to try hiking here with the poles!  A great hike - but no morels yet.

Tips: Take lots of water with you!!!!
