Story:

Bay Area Ridge Trail through White Hill Preserve with a descent  into Cascade Canyon Preserve to visit Cascade Falls and eat lunch by the stream.  After lunch we were greeted by a very loud rattle snake curled up in the grasses next to the trail. Climbing up through the Mount Tamalpaias Watershed to the Sargent Cypress Forest and looping through the Gary Giacomini Preserve to rejoin the Bay Area Ridge Trail where we saw yet another rattle snake - young and small right on the trail. Finally, returning to the cars by passing again through the White Hill Preserve.

Tips:
Parking on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard by the Brown Bridge just west of Fairfax and before Woodacre.
