Story:
We hiked up Falling Waters Trail on Little Haystack and enjoyed the waterfalls. But it was a tough climb to the top. Worth the effort though. We took the Franconia Ridge Trail to summit Mt. Lincoln and then Mt. Lafayette. Amazingly clear day and the ridge trail was beautiful. Many hikers say it's the best section of trail on the AT. I wouldn't know about that but the trail was the best we've visited. My phone ran out of battery at the Greenleaf AMC hut, where we stayed for the night, and then headed down the Old Bridle Path Trail.

Tips:
Falling Waters Trail is a challenging climb and the ranger suggested we climb up that one and come back down Old Bridle. After doing the full loop, I have to agree because Falling waters has lots of steep, rocky spots that could be tricky going down. Be ready for a work out to climb up it, too!
