Story:
Fanny & Mike called us last night to check whether we would be up to an easy hike (family friendly) today in Coyote Hills. Never been there before. It's a small but nice park. Although it's along the Bay, it is not flat (well, they call it "Coyote HILLS" after all).
A bunch of us met on a parking lot outside the park and we walked to the Visitors Center.
We then started climbing up the Muskrat Trail up to a first hilltop, continued to the second hilltop, and backtracked to the first one where we had lunch. The Easter Bunny had dropped a few eggs for the kids. Good Bunny!
We then took a shortcut to the Soaproot Trail, that we hacked until its junction with the Bayview Trail, and came back to the Visitor Center using the Nike Trail.
Very nice. Beautiful view of the Bay (including San Francisco) and of the trifecta (Mission, Allison, Monument peaks).

My elevation profile is screwed up because I started logging the track while the GPS was not well calibrated...
