Manouchehri House is among one of the most beautiful national and historic monuments restored in Iran. This house with nine incomparable residential rooms, restaurant, cinema, brocading and velvet weaving workshop, gallery, handicraft, book shop and café net is one of the most unique traditional residences. There is no doubt at all that the style of kashan's houses is at the peak of Iran's traditional architecture. And the architecture of Kashan's urban texture is the most detailed and prized one in the world. Unlike Yazd and Isfahan which their houses are big and small copy of one another, each one of the Kashan houses whether ordinary or noble houses has its own unique character. According to orientalists who visited this city from 9th to 10th century, Kashan has been one of the most beautiful cities of its time. Although more than 90 percents of these matchless buildings have been destroyed, seniors believe that remained houses adored by us are ordinary compared with Shokri and Bozorg Houses, Panjeh Shah, Siqand bathes and Telegraph office.

 However the houses survived and restored are a small symbol of that ideal city's history. Manouchehri House is located in one of the traditional parts of Kashan called Sarepole that is an old Jewish area. It is situated near traditional Bazaar. Sarepole is one of the outstanding areas of Kashan.

Noble families such as Sheybani and Zarrabi have been its residents. This area has been silk weaving center, too.

Manouchehri House has its own water cistern. This house was bought in 2007and was registered as a national monument in the same year. This house is residence and includes traditional brocading workshop. preserving this house was aimed at reviving and introducing Sarepole area as a tourism site.

Other houses have been bought to be used as library, art and craft center, velvet and silk work shop, a museum of precious fabrics and a residential center for researchers and students.
