Story:
This was the first hike I ever took my son Elliott on, he was 3 weeks old. We put him in the stroller and pushed him down the hard dirt path to the boardwalk. Through the trees of the boardwalk out to the bird blind where we saw ducks and geese, and heard sparrows.

At the end of the boardwalk we kept going, but we probably should have turned around. In the forest we ended up having to walk through a lot of mud. Later in the year the trail will probably dry out.
In one of the fields there were close to a thousand geese.
After the hike we tried to go on the ferry that crosses the Willamette River, but for some reason it was closed for the day.
