Story:
This hike takes you on a series of dikes through the Bayou. Some of it is wooded, some of it skirts the edge of the woods, and overlooks wetlands and farmlands. On some portions the trail routes on to gravel access roads.
There is plenty of wildlife observation, and several places with information about the bayou displayed.
There is a North and South restroom, the Grefe Tower (more of an observation deck), and several other places to stop and enjoy the view.
