Story:
A moderate hill walk with a steady uphill incline. Fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, including Djouce and Great Sugar Loaf, and adjacent views of Powerscourt Waterfall from above, as well as Bray head, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin Bay and Howth.

Park at the Crone Woods parking lot. This distance recorded is to climb to the summit of Maulin, then return on the same path to the parking lot. Very accessible and easy by car, about 30 min from city centre of Dublin. I've been looking for something relatively quick and close, but with beautiful views, and this is it. The first part is in a wooded area but it quickly opens to wide open views without shelter; bring rain gear.
