Some how we found ourselves at the Boy Scouts camp ground.

One of the guys there said he knew the area and had us get on an unmarked fire road. We used our machete to hack and hue through the forrest :)
We managed to make it to a trail which turned out to be the Butano Fire Trail.
Luckily a hiker came up the trail while we were taking a break. We were about to go down the trail in very much the wrong direction. The hiker got us heading toward the correct trail.
This is a great ride. Even with the wrong turns. Big Basin State Park beautiful as ever, even with all the work going on.
