Story:
Jo and I wanted to go hiking with friends, but on a Sunday, it's hard to rope in twenty-somethings to go on a day hike starting early in the morning. Most especially difficult when that morning is set 1 hour ahead by daylight savings time.

But we got Chris and Ze!

We started in the rain, having been very well prepared and well equipped with rain gear, and everything! (none of us checked the weather -_- ...)

We started on the Matt Davis Trail through the Bootjack Camp and up the side of the mountain. The trail weaves through woods, and peaks out along a couple ridges - luckily Chris left his voodoo magic camera back in the car which allowed the clouds to part and give us some sunshine.

Once we reached the summit we took some photos and hung out, then headed back down.

The trail down starts on the road and forks to the left to continue down a fire road. Eventually we got off the fire road and onto the Rock Creek Spring Trail and down to Mountain Theatre: a large amphitheater of stone and dirt, perfect for a large audience, but I'm not sure what it is actually used for.

After the hike we hit Boudin's in Fisherman's wharf for a much needed carbo-overload.
Tips:
Check the weather!
Have fun!
