Bayview Trail - California, United States

Story:
I started out looking for a place to put my kayak in, the wind was too brisk so I remembered a trail head on the way to Limantour beach that I had never started from.
I pulled into the lot for the Bayview trailhead and found that the trailhead for the Sky trail also starts here on the left.  I decided to take the downhill Bayview trail, it is mostly single track that is well maintained, connects with the coastal trail at 2.7 miles. The wind was brisk at the beach but the rest of the hike was pleasant, traveling through old growth Spruce, Pine and some Redwoods, plenty of wildlife to view from Tule Elk to Bobcats, a lot of species of birds and butterflies, it was a great hike!
Bayview Trailhead:
Limantour Road, Point Reyes Station, CA 94956
The trailhead is on the right/north side of the road 4.4 miles (7 km) after turning on to Limantour Road.
Tips:

remember "what goes down, must come up" the trails are well maintained but steep, bring at least a liter of water, lunch, good shoes, and layers as the temp can rise or fall quickly out here.
