Story:
The only reason why I uploaded this file, is to be able to find the levada again! We went to Ponta do Pargo (1 hour from Funchal) and started out on a levada walk towards Prazeres. It's 10 km. We have done the stretch between Faja da Ovelha and Prazeres before, and it was particularly lovely walking in the backyards of houses.
This February morning, the wind is cold and we decided to turn around after just 3,5 km. at a picnic place next to the road.

Tips:
This is the place to go, when the Hydrangeas and Agapanthus are at their best. You are practically surrounded by them, and ferns.
