Kayak - Davenport Landing to Greyhound Rock

Story: Seven of us paddled from Davenport Landing to Greyhound Rock and back looking for rock gardening opportunitues and doing a little surfing at Greyhound Rock. There were a couple of arches with small lagoons behind them and a difficult pourover, but not a whole lot of accessible rock features. At least once, a member of our group got surfed backwards for a ways trying to get over a wave that broke further out than expected.
As an extra bonus, we were treated by views of numerous waterfalls still running from the recent rains. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water and it was an excellent trip.
