Story:
Toni and I went out to snowshoe for the first time this winter. There was finally a couple of feet of snow on the ground from a storm last weekend. There were still some bare spots near Fallen Leaf Lake without snow on the ground. While hiking we ran into a very nice fellow, who told us about the trails we hiked. That's how we ended up going into the campground and back around Cathedral Rd. We had lunch at a picnic table at the campground. The weather was beautiful. Got to really use my new camera on this trip (Pentax Optio WG-1).
