Story:
Today I did a full circle around Square Pond on cross-country skiis. A couple challenges:
Easy and flat!
a. Very little snow - so I couldn't get my poles in very deep to get a good glide
b. Unbelievably, at about 1/2 through a snow plow came through and flattened any snow I had
If there was a decent amount of snow, this would have been a lovely flat ski trip with the pond in view the whole time.
Also can be walked or run - paved road when there's no snow covering.
