Story:
Sunny weekday up at the Snoqualmie Pass so had to just get out. There was only about 36 inches of snow not all that much and after a couple of warm days there was a good crusty layer on top.

Followed the loop around Gold Pound and then took the left and headed up the Gold Creek trail. About 2.5 miles I found a place to leave the other tracks and headed down by the creek and followed it to almost the end of Gold Creek Basin where I enjoyed the sun, my lunch and a little hot chocolate before heading back.
Just over 3 hours on a great sunny day.
