Story:
We wanted a short relatively easy hike, chose this hike from AMC'S Best Day Hikes in Connecticut. Even though the temperature was about 40, it felt colder due to no sun and a bit of a breeze. The hike was easy, but we missed the easy routes to the two scenic viewpoints. The book mentioned the Mountain Laurel and there was indeed plenty. We both want to go back to see if we can find the scenic viewpoints and to see the Mountain Laurel in bloom.
