Story:
It's a cloudy day but with favorable temperature in the early morning.
It's a cloudy day but with favorable temperature in the early morning.
I parked my car at the Pacific Athletic Club. Then I ride through TownePlace Suites and got to the trail. I was at the right time for a wonderful view of the sunrise at the Bay. It only lasted for a few minutes and fortunately, I got a few good pictures.
Most of the trail on this starting section is around the apartment buildings, with many bridges crossing waterways. You can view both the Bay and the residential area with waterways between.
The trail then led to the Oracle campus, and the trail is paved and around the campus. When I reached the Oracle Bridge, I turned to the right and started very nicely paved trail. I even passed a point of my start point of my Kayak in Foster City. The Trail then follows the Beach Park Blvd and you can see the San Mateo Bridge from distance.
The trail then crossed the San Mateo Bridge with underpass (very low clearance). I reached to the Seal Point Park. In this park, there is a small hill for the people to climb up. The view on the top must be great. But I continued my ride without climbing up.
The next is the Coyote Point Marina and the Golf Course. I passed a giant playground called Coyote Point Playground. The structure is more than three story high. It must be a lot of fun for anyone.
The trail ends at Airport Blvd joint with Old Bayshore Hwy. I did not continue further, although it will be a short on street ride on Old Bayshore Hwy and then to the bike trail, which leads to Bayfront Park. I will do it next time.
Along the way, I passed a number of parks, seashores, and business/residential areas. A lot of people bike and jogging/walking on the trail. The view is wonderful, especially if it is the clear day.
