Story:
We went out of Callville Bay Marina and first went across the Boulder Basin to the Hoover Dam. Its very cool to approach it from the water. After that we went up the channel to the Virgin Basin and explored around there a bit. The GPS on my phone was roaming most of the time and consumed battery power. So, we got cut off before the return trip. We basically returned through the channel and explored various coves and inlets along the return trip.
The water is down quite a bit. I'm not sure over what period of time, but the evidence is in a few forms. First and most obvious is the white line on the rocks. A couple other neat things are the channel markers being 50 feet up on the rocks and the sunken boats that now appear to be up on the land.
