Story:
Blanding Landing is a very remote Boat Launch and Camp Ground along the Mississippi River across from Bellevue, Iowa. The road to get there is worth the trip alone because of the scenery. I paddled the Illinois side north along the railroad track that runs parallel to the river. I also passed Chestnut Ski Mountain. The backwater is full of waterfowl and fauna.
