Story:
An excellent beginner course at Grimmialp for the weekend. Saturday we went up the eastern valley, but the visibility was quite poor so the sense of accomplishment was quite limited. Sunday we went up the middle valley and the weather was fantastic (I burned myself even with plenty of suntan lotion on). We made it up to the Traumlücke (Dream saddle) and had a great view of the region. The view was outstanding and the snow was unreal. We were able to make fresh tracks in knee deep powder that you could barely feel.

Tips:
Getting up to one of the ridges or summits is a fantastically worthwhile view, so try not to miss it.
