Story:
Jk-Experience 2011

DAY 1 In the Rocky Mountains, Falken tire and Off-road Evolution led us from Glenwood Springs to the Holy Cross Trail in the Rocky Mountains.  This was our first trip out to the area so we didn't know what do expect.

The trail is easy going for the first part.  Tall pine trees and gradual hills lead you to steeper and rockier areas.  As the trail gets higher up into the mountains the terrain gets rockier and more difficult to pass.  This trail has some excellent obstacles including a section that run right up the middle of a running Rocky mountain creek. (a few of us had to winch here) At the top of the hill is an obstacle named Cleavland rock.  We were unable to attempt Cleavland Rock this go around due to time but we hear winching is almost always a must.

Tips:
4x4, lift, lockers, and winch recommended. Bring a lunch and plenty of water to stay hydrated.  Stop in at a local discount tire for a free tire inspection before hitting the trail.
