Story:
This hike is short, but full of monkeys. We simply started at Kowloon reservoir and ended in Shek Yam Lei. This trail has plenty of off-shoot and even overlaps with the Maclehose and Wilson trails for a bit. The highlight of this hike is monkeys though. If you want to see lots of monkeys in the wild this is where you go. "Monkey Hill" as it is commonly referred to has from what I heard about 1500+ monkeys living on it, and I think you see most of them while walking along the path. They are relatively friendly, but make sure you hide any signs of food, including plastic bags, or they will take them (and not in a cute can I see what that is kind of way). In any case this is a great easy hike with lots of wildlife and many off-shooting trails to make for a longer/ difficult hike.

Tips:
We took the MTR to Shim Shui Po station and hoped in a cab to Kowloon Reservoir. To get back we caught a bus from Shek Yam Lei to TST.
