Story:

Robert and Linda backpacked to three peaks as part of the Catskill 3500 Club requirements.  It was a pre-Hurricane Irene hike.  The forest didn't know what was going to hit it!  We were impressed by the numerous amounts of mushroom varieties.  Alice in Wonderland would have been in her glory. We were delighted to see a hummingbird feeding on thisle outside of the Batavia Kill shelter.  We also were treated to a few snakes coiled together on the accent to Thomas Cole.
