Story: Equestrian Trails for Community Access. This trip started from Palm Beach Country Estates at the C-18 Triangle Preserve community equestrian entrance, located on Canal C (inside the community). There are no provisions for trailers or parking for these trails. The trail system is directly accessible by riders on horseback from bordering equestrian communities including Palm Beach Country Estates, Jupiter Farms, Wind in the Pines and Caloosa. Riverbend Park borders the state designated Ocean to Lake Greenway, which allows equestrian use and hiking along the connective C-18 Canal. This trail borders the western portion of the Park. Follow the white markers for equestrian use... and enjoy! Remember, Nothing says "Thank You" like Staying on the Trails! Community Connection - Riverbend Trail Riders is the official stewardship organization of equestrian trails in Riverbend Park.
Tips: Riverbend Park equestrian trails are the white markers. The park provides separate trail systems for the enjoyment of each user group experience. The Florida Trail (FTA) trail is orange and the green trails are for bicycle or pedestrians. The main entrance for cars only (no horses or horse trailers) is off Indiantown Rd. The equestrian entrances are from the Greenway (C-18 Canal) and enter the southern portion of the park, which was developed to be more natural and wild. The most immediate access is for community "ride-in" on horseback.
