Story:
We celebrated Mass at 6:00 PM Saturday in Oxford (something we couldn't have done fog 300 years without being killed). It was at the Church of Sts. Gregory the Great & Augustine of Canterbury. The priest is Fr. John Saward - a fellow Ignatius Press author. Sunday morning I took off running thru Oxford. I owe a great debt to CS Lewis and have thrilled at the works of Tolkien. So, it was a great joy to see Mass celebrated at the Oratory, seer the Eagle & Child Pub where the Inklings met and to again visit Magdalen College where Lewis taught. Ah, what you can see and experience with a pair of running shoes!
