I'm 68 and suffer from several things that younger hikers shouldn't have to cope with. If you can't beet my time and have lots of fun, go to the hospital, which you could get to on the city bus from near the trail head. The rangers at the Grand Canyon would probably put you on a helicopter with a big bill, Flag;s city bus costs 41.25 for senior looking riders.
