Having gone to several overlooks in the Bruneau - Jarbridge Rivers Wilderness previously, including the somewhat nearby 'Austin's Trail,' Trapper42 & I decided to explore on further south. More specifically our destination was the overlook at the confluence of the Bruneau River and Sheep Creek (as well as an unnamed area about 2 miles to the north). Once there of course we took photos and he took the following videos.

In addition, it was the plan to put out a geocache.

Whoever said 'getting there is half the fun' didn't listen in class when the concept of percentages and ratios was being taught, or was out of their mind, or has a strange definition of 'fun' or never traveled this part of state. Maybe all of the above apply.
However when you finally get there you should not be disappointed. There are no other views like these for miles, and miles and miles. Seriously, they are spectacular.
If someone were to ask me: "What is the best way to get there?" I would have to tell them 'in someone else's vehicle' and then only if it was a four wheel drive and only when it's dry. I would suggest making the trip on an ATV, UTV or motorcycle or other off-road vehicle.
