We parked at the Peddler's Park entrance and followed the white circle trial across the boardwalk. With all the rain we have had the walk across the boardwalk was like a walk in the jungle. When we got to the other side we continued on the white circle trail. When we got to the green rectangle trail we debated whether we would head over to the orange circle and back to the start or whether we would continue on the white circle. We decided to continue on which in retrospect was the wrong decision as the trail became more rugged with more up and down, some of which were fairly rocky particularly the descent to the blue rectangle trail. This all did in Diane, she ended up scooting down a couple of the slopes on her backside, which became quite dirty. Upon reaching the blue rectangle trail we headed East to the orange circle trail and headed north on it. When we reached the orange square trail (an alternate to the main orange trail we took that. The orange trail eventually joined up with the white circle trail just before the boardwalk. At this point we retraced our steps back to the car.
