Story:
This was an interesting hike that was spur of the moment for the last day in Yellowstone. Lots of snow melt off created a lot of mud in the low area's through out the park including this area. We started off through the valley trying to stay as dry as possible. Hike climbs up a hillside and moves through and area that was burned out and is now regrowing. It has bears in the area with lots of signs and evidence around. Be careful and make noise. Enjoy able winding path the leads to a wonderfully large lake. A cool breeze coming off the lake made for a great picnic on the rim of the lake valley.
