Story:
I really did myself in on this ride. I intended to just ride down this stretch of highway and turn around. Going was easy because the wind was at my back. I got low on water and had to stop and ask some of the guys on our crew to bring me water. Luckily, I found a nice person on our crew to do that. They thought I was crazy and wanted me to get in the truck. I needed to finish what I had started. I was feeling ok at that point. I turned around and then I proceeded to make the long trek back. Well the wind was brutal and dust was getting in my eyes. I was feeling super nauseous. I had to get off and walk the bike a few times.
The area I am riding is safe if you are wondering. I ride along the fence line of ranches. Where there is a path made by the ranchers mules. Unfortunately, these paths that are stamped out are mostly made of sand. It made the trek that much worse.
Luckily I didnt lose my lunch and I made it back to the hotel. Next, time I wont do this in the heat of the day:)

It makes a HUGE difference if you ride in the dawn (like I do) or in the heat of the day.
