Story:
We started at Gazos Creek Road at the gates. This probably shaves about 1 1/2 miles off the hike. The majority of the hike to the falls is descending, but it's fairly moderate elevation drop into dense tropical redwood rainforests, so be prepared to climb on the way out. About 90% of this hike is in the shade. Leave early as the traffic gets pretty thick after noon.
