Story:
Got up at 3:30 local time and was on the road to Old Faithful by 4:30. this was our coldest night yet, in the low 30's.... brrrr
We arrived at Old Faithful and watched the eruption and then headed over to Old Faithful in for a nice hot shower. Afterward we had a nice hot cup of cocoa and a fresh bagel!! While eating in the lodge we again saw Old Faithful erupt.
We then did a load of laundry and headed out on the road towards Yellowstone Lake. We stopped at serval places around the NE part of the lake and headed north towards Tower Campground.
Tower was full once again so we headed over to Mammoth again. Once we got there the motor home in front of us received the last spot!! Luckily the volunteer at the campground liked us (we think it is the beard) and let us stay in the biker's/hiker's spot for the night!!
