Headed out with the wife, kids, and some friends for an afternoon drive in North Idaho. It was rainy, but that added to the beauty of the lush-green-misty mountains.

The falls were incredible and path of the trail awesome over the creek and through cedar grooves covered with moss.

Copper Creek Falls is in the northeast corner of Idaho: northeast of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; less than 1 mile south of Eastport & the Canadian border, and just west of the Montana border.

From US-95 northbound:
Driving north on US-95 past Copeland toward Eastport and the Canadian border, pass Robinson Lake (on your left), then Moyie River Road at Good Grief (on your right).
About 2.5 miles from Good Grief, cross the UP Railroad track.
About 0.4 miles more cross the Moyie River and then, on your right is Copper Creek Road (#2517).
Make a hard right and follow Copper Creek Road for about 2.2 miles to the campground and trail head.
The base of Copper Falls is a signed easy 1/2 mile trail hike from the campground.
