Story:
This is an interesting hike you start off by talking through the urban area around Lam Tim MTR and eventually make your way up a road to the Chinese permanent cemetery (along which you will see the beginning of stage 3). I highly recommend taking the detour up to Pau Toi Shan, where you will have the opportunity to walk through an old abandoned fort built in 1914. The trail has some ups and downs, but is relatively easy compared to some of the others in HK, especially for experienced hikers. Another odd find was towards the end of the stage there is a temple area with a lot of very odd and seemingly out of place statues (refer to photos). All in all good views, good hike, good fun.
Tips:
Start: Lam Tin MTR Station. Exit A looks correct on the map but Exit B is marked as the 'Wilson Trail' Exit. Either will do. Just walk right out of the station and follow Lei Yue Mun Road (East)
End: Major road with lots of bus and taxi access.
