Story:
One can start driving to the trail head from Linville, NC or from the BLue Ridge Parkway and take (SR 1511) Roseboro Rd south. It's several miles past the BRP down this narrow treacherous road. After the hike continue south and head to Edgemont and Mortimer where people still live. YOu can take Highway 90 which is a gravel road back to Lenoir or head to Globe Rd and drive that gravel road all the way back to Blowing Rock. Take a left on Anthony Creek Rd off of 90 to get to Globe Rd.

The trail has lots of waterfalls and TONS of creeks to cross. I would suggest bringing gators or hiking sandals.
