The only location where a boat can land directly from the sea between Portmór Pier and Ineuran Bay or safer still, Rort Rónán, an approximate distance of six nautical miles. Reputedly named after a man named Jones whose body was washed into this beach. His grave is located at the top left exit of the shore.
