I love the \"be here, now\" aspect of rollerblading. I\'m constantly adjusting my balance, improving my strokes, watching for hazards. I have no doubt that sloppy blading could quickly lead to knee problems - another reason to take care.Anyway, I passed a block where a guy had climbed a building under construction, apparently to jump. Cops where posted everywhere. I saw the guy, and he was in a really bad position to jump effectively.

a yale man

Pavement in this area varies wildly in quality. I knew approximately how long it took to get there and back, but that was about it. I wondered how many km the route was. I remembered that someone had told me about a web site where you could plot and track a running route, but when I went there, it seemed like way too much work, and besides, I was using trails and I didn't even know if they were there on the site or not. Like I said, too much work. The web page said they had an iPhone app tho and I thought, how cool . When I went looking for it tho, I found this uber cool app that does exactly what I want it to do, and way, way more. This is the first time using the app, so I didn't bother adding pictures. I plan on doing this route again, and next time I'm gonna add some pictures along the way! As for the time, I didn't pause it when I stopped at Mikey's, so the time and average speed are off. When I checked at the very end of the route, and again right when I got to Mikey's, my average speed was around 11km/h.

Golden Horseshoe Greatest Hits

Night Ride
