After 2 hrs came to the sign post for Millers hut or Lake Tali Karn, Gillios Trk. The walk in to Tali Karng is quite steep and terrain drops about 700m over a kilometer according to the GPS. You can feel your toes getting bunched up in your shoes, but when you reach first sight Its well worth it. I arrived around 10am after 3hrs and 50min and the first thing on the agenda was to go for a swim. It certainly wakes you up.lol. When stocking up on your water supply up at the water fall there are a few snakes around like the brown one that came up to say hello, not sure what type but it had a light cream ring around its head and the body was brown,so to the walker keep your eye out for the brown and black sticks. The fish here are hard to catch but i finally suck seeded and ended up having salmon for breakfast with poached eggs. I spent 2 days in there fishing and taking photographs and met some lovely people.(thanks for the hospitality) The trip out was great on the legs especially with 17 1/2 kilo on my back. I pulled a calf muscle on the way out and my walk became a slow shuffle, just what i needed. in stead of it taking me 4hrs like last time, it was a slow and staggering 6hrs back to Mcfarlane saddle car park unfortunately i decided to not shuffle another km out to see millers hut but that will be on the cards for the next time. Get your tackels and go near the town of Madjarovo, where the river is great for catching mullets. Most of the watercourse is shallow and you can enjoy walking in it while fishing, but there are also deep spots where the big fish is.

KAM Bonefish

West Clear Creek

Great creek for fly fishing only saw one other angler on the bottom.
