We shuttled my car to the take out point and then drove back to the house to get the kayaks. we then loaded them on his car and took them to the park next to our neighborhood and unloaded at the put in point. We then spent the next almost 5 hours paddling down Big Walnut Creek and then onto the Scioto River. We saw a ton of birds. We even saw a few female wood ducks feign injury to lure us away from their babies. Those little duckings were sooooo cute. We followed a group of ducks down the creek. As we got closer they flew down the creek and we kept coming up on them. They then kept flying down the creek. we also heard a couple different red tail hawks and even saw one fly across the creek to its big nest in the tops of a sycamore tree. Big blue herons were everywhere. A deer crossed the creek in front of us. It was like the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet in the real world. Everything was great till we got back to the car and realized I left the keys in Rich\'s truck when we shuttled back to the house. oops. I had to call my sister who owns a bad ass truck to haul us and our kayaks back to the house so I could get my keys. She then took me to my car and laughed at me the whole time for being such a ditz. geez......but it was a great trip and I\'m tired, a good tired.
